So, today boys, we said it's over, now if you think you dressed well, you should still stick around, see all these rules and see if you're actually doing them properly if you're not and if you think these tips are for you, let's hop into it.

1. Don't Wear Wrinkled Clothes

Yes, don't be the guy that just grabs things out of the dryer and uses them out to go out, wrinkled clothing looks dirty and it looks messy, it doesn't matter how expensive your garment if you got a cheap piece of clothing from H&M and you ironed that out and it fits properly, it's gonna look like a million bucks.

2. Do Not Wear Clothing That Hides Your Figure

When you're wearing dress shirts not accentuating your weight, you want strong shoulders and a lean stomach; and wearing loose clothing that's too loose on your waist it's just a missed opportunity. Get them all tailored based on your body figure which will give you that v-shape illusion. Any time you wear a shirt that's not tailored and too boxy you end up looking like an overweight guy.

3. Middle Button On Suit Jacket Is Always Button

The one tip that looks off is the middle button on your suit jacket is always the button. That's it, you have the top button and a lower button; when you're standing up the top button is the one that's always button and the one on the bottom, you never button that and it's crazy that even to this day, people are still doing it on a high production sets in Hollywood.

When you do that, you box out your suit jacket and it looks like you're it's constricting your waist and butt region. Now if it's a three-button suit jacket, the middle one again is the one that's always button, the bottom one you never button it and the top one is optional depending on how you're feeling but again boys, only the middle button.

4. Stop Saving Your Special Pieces Only For Special Occasion

We all do it for our special day but every time you buy yourself a new piece of clothing that you love, it's your new favorite and you tend to just put it away and only use it for a special occasions for that time that you're going out. Now, the problem then becomes is that you just spent a hundred, two hundred or maybe even five hundred dollars on this piece of clothing and you're not putting it to use and then after a few months or years you end up either forgetting about it or it's out of style and you let that go to waste.

5. Only Match 1-2 Pieces Of Jewelry Of The Same Metal/Colour

You only want to match one to two pieces of jewelry on your outfit, not all your metal. It ends up looking too tacky like you're trying too hard. Let's say you're wearing a bracelet, a ring, a watch, a necklace, earring, and whatever other pieces of metal you're gonna wear on your body, don't go and make all of those silver or all of those gold you look like a trihard and it looks tacky, you want to break things up.

For example, if your hand band is silver, and have a silver watch, that's good but if you're wearing more than that and you should match certain pieces, matching things like wear a black watch, a black bracelet with a silver ring and if you would throw on a silver necklace that breaks up adds a little bit more balance to your outfit and it doesn't look so matchy-matchy or like such a try-hard, this is exactly why having a strong collection of jewelry is important.

6. Never Unbutton More Than 3 Buttons On A Dress Shirt

When you're wearing a dress shirt, never unbutton more than three buttons anything more you're gonna go into the tool douchebag territory which it's an area nobody wants to go to this is no-man's land. So you got the tie button, two and then one more, this is the sweet spot on every shirt, you wear three buttons which will always look great, any more than three like we told you, you're going into no-man's land.

7. Don't Wear Tie If You're Not Wearing A Suit

If you're wearing a dress shirt tucked in without a suit jacket ditch the tie, you don't need it, it just looks confusing, ties really should only be worn when you're wearing a suit now it's pretty common to do it nowadays because it's a more modern dressy look to it but like we said it looks like you're trying to dress something up while also dressing it down.

8. Wear Dress Socks Long Enough To Cover Your Legs

When you wear dress socks and dress pants, you want to make sure you're wearing socks that are long enough to cover your naked legs, if not, the contrast just looks weird, you're gonna look dorky and hella tacky, this is why dress socks are meant to go pretty high up. So when you sit down none of your skin is showing.

9. Stop Wasting Perfume, Target Warm Areas

Stop wasting perfume, you should only be applying for fume to the warm regions of your body because it is where the fragrance will expel throughout the day in an even manner so it could smell the most. You're getting the most bang for your buck it's the most efficient way to put it, some of the warmest regions of your body will be your neck area, your shoulders, your chest, and your wrists, this is why most people just target these areas while every other area is usually a little bit cooler and won't have the strong scent that we'll have if you and your warm area.

10. Wear The Right Shoes With Your Outfit
